LOCATION

Kuti is located about 1km from the Nhkotakota turnoff, when coming from Lilongwe. The park is signposted and about 5km down the dirt road.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

Camping: Choose from two camping spots, either Landirani Camp or Sanga Camp, both with ablutions and cooking facilities. $10/MK2800 per person. Children under 12 and accompanied by an adult go free.

A Frames: Simple accommodation sleeping up to 4, set in a relaxed lawned area with a communal bar, cooking area & ablutions. $20/MK5600 per person, or $70/19,500 per a frame.

Bush Villas: Set in peaceful woodlands, these spacious villas sleep up to 6 and have en suite bathrooms, kitchenettes with a fridge and private BBQ areas. $100-$120/MK 28,000-33,500 per villa.

Waterfront Chalets: Coming soon! Perfect for bird watching, or perhaps a rustic romantic retreat, these will offer fabulous views over the dambo and will be built with outdoor bathrooms.

ACTIVITIES

Safari Drives: Take a self-guided tour with one of our maps, or you can hire our guides for $10 for up to 3 hours.

Wilderness Walks: We have several routes of varying length in different areas to choose from.

Cycling: The trails are also excellent for cycling. Bring your own bike or we do have a couple for hire at $10 per half day (subject to availability).

Sunset Deck: Surely the best sunset spot in Malawi! Overlooking the wetlands, this is a great place for sundowners, a braai or simply kicking back with a book at any time of the day.

Bird spotting For the bird geeks amongst you, ask at reception for the current bird list and see how many you can spot.

Family games: Ask at reception for the communal games - nothing too fancy but you’ll find a cricket and badminton set and some board games.
